Association for International Education Training Programme AIETP was founded in 1987 inCalifornia, United States of America. AIETP is a non-profit youth organization . It currently offers educational exchange programs to students and youth as part of its goal to establish cultural and educational connections between America and other parts of the world.
An established International Cultural Exchange Program, the AIETP began providing structured training opportunities for students and Professionals seeking a career in the hospitality industry in 1986. The AIETP is designated by the United States Department of State as a sponsor of an Exchange Visitor Program in accordance with the administrative regulations issued under the Mutual Education and Cultural Exchange Act of 1961.

Our Mission:

To develop future leaders through practical training, education, and cultural exchange while fostering international understanding, goodwill and friendship. It is our vision that students who complete the AIETP internship will have developed an appreciation for all cultures, and will have come to the realization we are all united in a common bond of humanity.
The Recruitment and Selection Process for the second batch of Internship starts with immediate effect and ends on the 7th August 2011
This programme is meant to train both academic/technical less priveledged people from all over the world, in accordance with the United Nations initiative to reduce unemployment and poverty especially in Africa and the Middle East to the bearest mini-mum.

The AIETP strives to develop hospitality leaders of tomorrow who have a positive attitude, demonstrate strong work values, lead by example, encourage tolerance, celebrate diversity and promote peace around the world.

Open to students and Professionals currently enrolled and working in a Human Services or related field

BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT/SERVICE COORDINATION INTERNSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM

Open only to graduate students and Professionals in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling programs

ADMINISTRATIVE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Open to students /Professionals currently enrolled in Business Administration or related field

Aim and Vision

We believe that hands on experiences can truly alter the life’s path of an individual early in their Career Development
Our program’s purpose is to develop future leaders and movers with global competency by organizing intercultural experiences in a foreign work environment. To promote the establishment of long term cooperation and solidarity between the young people of different countries by means of cultural-educational, work exchange international programs

To give youth opportunity to establish personal contacts and true information exchange to develop their professional knowledge, as well as culture and civil qualities of other countries, especially in the field of human rights protection, through exchange programs
To promote the constructive initiatives directed at stimulation of youth exchanges, using fully their abilities and advantages
To stimulate international voluntary movement, to overcome the cultural-linguistic, psychological and other barriers for strengthening friendly and peaceful ties between youth and students of different countries
Internship in unique way to put the theoretical knowledge you have gained at university in your field of study. The program are open for current-full time, post-secondary students and in certain cases to those who have recently graduated.
This program assists international students and young professionals with securing internships and practical training programs in the U.S. Our programs help participants to develop the professional skills necessary to work in an increasingly interdependent world. We also provide U.S. employers with access to highly motivated and qualified international candidates, who not only help to diversify the workplace but who also provide the international insight and cultural perspective organizations need to compete in the global market.
Who can Participate
To be eligible for the Work and Study Internship Program, you must:
You must be proficient in English and capable of reading, writing, and, speaking the English language by demonstrationndustry.
Be able to communicate in English with others.
Be of good moral character with no criminal background, pass a personal interview test, and have sufficient financial support to be a candidate for our program.
Have a valid passport for at least 6 months past your ending date.

Be between the ages of 18-60.
Basic Requirements for the 9 Months Practical Training
You must be a dedicated professional willing to learn all areas ofmanagement development, follow a designated training plan, and show a desire and a commitment to complete the program at a satisfactory level.
The futures of our participants are unwritten, but one thing is certain
be they future researchers seeking cures for disease, corporate leaders, policy makers, teachers or parents each of our participants will contribute to a better, more tolerant and just global society through more expanded visions that we have helped enable them to gain.

I had been directed to contact the CIEE who in turn directed me to one FENDA BALDE. I am supposed to pay some fees to this person for my Eligibility clearance for my j1 visa.
